Volunteers are the cornerstone of China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS). Each year, we grant Volunteer of the Year Award to a volunteer for his/her significant contributions to the organization. For 2018, we are delighted to announce the winner of CHPAMS Volunteer of the Year Award, Dr. Mengxi Zhang.

Mengxi received her Ph.D. in Global Community Health and Behavioral Sciences and Master of Public Health in Epidemiology, both from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Earlier, she received Bachelor of Medicine in Preventive Medicine from China’s Capital Medical University School of Public Health and Family Medicine. She is currently an assistant professor at Ball State University College of Health.

Dr. Mengxi Zhang began her service to CHPAMS in 2015 when she was a student at Tulane University. She has provided vital support to public-facing communications for our organization, such as editing monthly newsletters, planning and hosting webinars, and drafting CHPAMS blogs. While Mengxi is now an assistant professor, she continues to dedicate her time and efforts for CHPAMS. The development of CHPAMS calls for such great support from volunteers.
