CHPAMS Newsletter is a monthly e-newsletter from the China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS). The Newsletter serves as a communication platform to provide updates and activities related to CHPAMS and information of potential interest for CHPAMS members.

The work of CHPAMS members and friends on China’s health and healthcare systems has been very important to advance relevant academic fields and inform evidence-based policy making. To better promote our own latest contributions to global audiences, CHPAMS will be active in social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. When you have a new study ready to share (in pre-print or published form) or newly featured in local, national and international media, we encourage you to share with us directly in these social media platforms via tagging or submit the information to CHPAMS (contact@chpams.org), and we will help disseminate them. Please follow CHPAMS social media accounts (see below). Moreover, CHPAMS official website has been updated to embed Twitter Feeds so that when we tweet or re-tweet your latest news, our tweets will be shown on CHPAMS website to reach broader audiences.

Activities
ISES-ISEE 2018
CHPAMS organized a dinner gathering at the 2018 Joint Annual Meeting of the International Society of Exposure Science and the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISES-ISEE 2018) on August 29, 2018, in Ottawa, Canada. This was the first gathering that CHPAMS organized at the ISES-ISEE, the biggest conference in the field of environmental health. Originally planned for several members of the CHPAMS Environmental Health – Climate Change Group, the roster for the gathering quickly grew and 55 researchers from North America, China and Europe participated in the hugely successful dinner gathering. While enjoying the authentic gourmet food, participants networked with fellow researchers from all over the world, discussed insights on research topics, and vowed to continue scholarly exchanges after the conference.
The 2nd Biennial Conference of the China Health Policy and Management Society
The 2nd Biennial Conference of the CHPAMS was successfully held at the Yale School of Public Health on May 11-13, 2018. The conference was reported by People’s Daily, Xinhua, and Yale, among others.
